The All Due Respect Campaign is a worker-led movement to raise standards in Philadelphia’s low-wage industries—where Black workers, particularly justice impacted workers, are disproportionately exploited.
The All Due Respect Campaign is a crucial step toward ensuring that Black, temp workers and all workers are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.
The DUES Act will:
Guarantee equal pay for equal work, ending the wage gap between workers who do the same job for unequal pay.
Protect formerly incarcerated workers by designating them as a protected class, prohibiting discrimination.
Require health and safety standards, guaranteed breaks, and free transportation to worksites.
Ensure transparency and accountability through a public registry of staffing agencies.
Create clear pathways for temp workers — especially Black and formerly incarcerated workers — to organize and join unions.
