About the event
Calling all workers in Philadelphia! Get ready to win a brand new Philadelphia law in 2024 to end retaliation in the workplace!
On Saturday, November 18th, the PA Chapter of the National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA) will be hosting the “Philly Workers Fight Back” Summit, along with our core partners, the AFL-CIO, 215 People's Alliance, El Comité de Trabajadorxs, the Coalition for Safety and Health (CRSH), Philly Black Worker Project, Community Legal Services, and the Sheller Center at Temple Law School.
In this convening, workers from different sectors will join to share their experiences of workplace retaliation and backlash when demanding and defending their rights, and learn about a plan to win protections against that retaliation and backlash. We'll learn skills like storytelling, organizing conversations, and how to use social media to share our stories and win our demands, and we'll get to know other workers who are ready to fight back!
Light breakfast and a lunch will be provided. Register here to reserve your spot!
